Resilence: Unmatched
Bad actors within the BCSO and the Department of Justice made it their job to make the lives of the Los Santos County Mayor’s Office a living nightmare. That didn’t stop us.
They wanted us to crashout. We didn’t. It made us push harder, approving the most legislation, and most businesses in a single mayor’s term in the history of Los Santos.
And we’ll do it again.
Our Plan for Term 2
The first term of the Chavez administration was historic. I - together with my team - were a legislative powerhouse, delivering more legislation to the citizens of Los Santos than the entire DOJ. We strengthened civil rights, and created much-needed programs to support rebuilding sectors, and up-and-coming industries. We approved over 40 unique, resident-run businesses, jumpstarting the economy of Los Santos. And we’re not done. Not yet. Read on for the highlights of our platform, or view the full platform here.
Business, Commerce, and Trade
We’ll be establishing a centralized hub for business, commerce and trade that will give business owners of Los Santos dedicated space to sell consumer goods and services. A place for consumers to go and get what they need when they need it.
But that’s not enough - this is the digital age afterall - and that’s why we’ll also be introduced a Digital Bazaar for e-commerce. Patrons of the digital bazaar will be able to buy, sell and trade using traditional and crypto currency, make invested, and offer or receive loans.
Arts, Music and Events
We showed in term one just how effective subsidied can be, divying out over $10 million dollars through our subsidy programs to support up and coming record labels, artists, and events. We’ve made it a point to collaborate directly with the creatives of Los Santos and we will continue to respond to their needs, legislative or otherwise.
Gambling
Not only will the Digital Bazaar be an online hub for commerce in Los Santos, it will also be a place of entertainment. We intend to introduce online gambling, that allows you to gamble using dollars or crypto, with others. My team has done the back-end work for the Digital Bazaar, including gambling, and we look forward to opportunity to bring this all to you - the citizens of Los Santos.
Civil Rights
In our first term we promised to fight for you, and your rights. And while every piece of legislation we passed strengthened your rights, and improved your quality of life, more work can be done. My team and I plan to do a thorough audit of ALL legislation - past and present - to ensure that it aligns constitutionally, and does not violate your rights. We will find every hole, and plug them.
Our Promise
I made a promise to you - my constituents, the citizens of Los Santos - when I put my name forward to represent you as your mayor, more than three months ago, that I would fight for you. FIght for your rights. Fight to raise the standard of living in Los Santos. I can confidently say, that is exactly what I did. But today? Today’s different. Because today I’ve got a team of the best and brightest. A multi-disciplinary team that understands the vision for a better and brighter Los Santos. It’s not just my word you have - it’s the word of my team. We will continue to fight for you. To represent you. To act in good faith, on your behalf. To represent your interests.
We will listen.
We will act.
